Rashmin Chandulal Sanghvi :
Rashmin Sanghvi is a Chartered Accountant and started his practice in 1975. He is Founder Partner of Rashmin Sanghvi & Associates. He is recognised as a visionary and a leading consultant on tax and foreign exchange laws in India.
He is known for his radical and at the same time philosophical views. In his own unique style, he combines technical professional subjects with philosophy to give a different and clear perspective on several legal areas.
He had been appointed by the Indian Finance Ministry on the High Powered Committee to study “E-Commerce and taxation”. The committee has submitted its report to the Central Board of Direct Taxes. It is available on this website.
Rashmin Sanghvi was founder member of the Western Regional Chapter of IFA at Mumbai. At IFA U.S. congress in the year 2001, his paper on E- Commerce was part of the paper book presented. It is available on this website.
He pioneered the concept of training not only Chartered Accountants and Advocates, but also Tax Revenue Officials. From the year 1987, he spearheaded a movement with the objective to help 100 tax consultants become experts in International taxation. He was the key promoter of International Tax & Finance (I.T.F.) group at Bombay Chartered Accountants’ Society. This group has trained over a thousand practising Chartered Accountants in the subject of International Taxation through a self-learning process.
He has made presentations at several conferences organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Bombay Chartered Accountants’ Society, Chamber of Tax Consultants and various other institutions.
He has also given lectures at Income-tax department’s training Institute at Nagpur and UTI Institute of Management–Vashi, New Mumbai on tax treatment for foreign collaborations, e-commerce taxation, international economics, etc. He was a visiting professor at Jamnalal Bajaj and Welingkar Institutes of Management.
He is presently active in spearheading a unique group on the study of International Economics under the auspices of Bombay Chartered Accountants’ Society.

Naresh Ajwani is a Chartered Accountant and Partner of Rashmin Sanghvi & Associates. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the year 1988 and has been advising clients since then. He has specialised knowledge in the field of International Taxation and Foreign Exchange Management Act.
He is a regular contributor for articles in professional journals on International tax and FEMA. He has co-authored a book on FEMA with Mr. Rashmin Sanghvi (Partner) and Mr. K. G. Chaudhari (retired senior manager in the Reserve Bank of India).

Rutvik Sanghvi is a Chartered Accountant and Partner in Rashmin Sanghvi & Associates. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2005. He joined Rashmin Sanghvi & Associates in 2007 and is involved in the firm’s core International tax and Regulatory advisory service areas involved with cross-border entity structuring; inbound & outbound strategy; transfer pricing; as well as its Income-tax and FEMA compliance services.
He has earlier worked with the Indian network firm of KPMG with their Corporate Tax team and was involved in several advisory projects covering international tax as also domestic corporate tax.
He takes active part in professional organisations and is a member of the Bombay Chartered Accountants’ Society (BCAS) Managing Committee; Convenor of its International Taxation Committee; and member of its Journal Committee. He is also member of the Chamber of Tax Consultants’ (CTC) International Taxation Committee and a Convenor of its Intensive Study Group on International tax.
He has authored articles in professional tax journals and for the CTC Compendium on International Taxation (3rd Edition). He has given various presentations at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and at the BCAS and CTC.
Apart from his passion for international tax, he also holds an avid interest in international economics, technology & photography.
