1. To receive and retain any money for which we have not put in our physical and/or mental – creative efforts is a sin. Receiving value for our own benefits, without giving value to the payer is a sin.
If one gets a lottery prize, he is getting sinful money.
2. In addition, this prize represents – unfulfilled desires of lakhs of people - each one of whom wanted to receive the same prize. Since their heart's desire remains unfulfilled; and at their cost your desire is being fulfilled, you can never get true satisfaction & happiness out of that money.
3. Running a lottery system is a fraud.
Giving false hopes to millions of people; collecting money from them; and then redistributing a part of it to one or a few people; and retaining fat commissioners out of people's dreams …
The fact that a Government runs the system –
may make it legal;
But it remains immoral.
It also shows that the society has fallen in its morality.
